To improve the accessability of information, a search mechanism is being developed. When complete, searches by key word can be carried out for topics such as blue-green algae, iron removal in groundwater, or pesticides in water.
In the future, the Internet will also be used to extend information through Prairie Water Fact Sheets, a compilation of water quality fact sheets generated by prairie agencies. One of the fact sheets will offer an address list of water related internet sites. Identification books, such as weed and algae identification manuals, can also be put on the Net.
